1. Each lesson is about 10 to 15 minutes long
2. The student does clear reading.
3. The books need to have photos or pictures.
4. Sometimes the student selects the books.
This blog will be a record of what we studied together. Then his future teachers will know what we accomplished. Of course, the student's accent and confidence will be the ultimate test of "how good is the teacher"?
Here is a free download of a chart.
I guess this is an easy way to show that the student did a lot of pronunciation work today.
=====
Note to other TEACHERS: Where can we find comic books? I found the following information online, but I can't find the actual downloads. The links that I visited show groups of pages, but I'd rather send the entire ebook so that the student can look at the book without being online.
Here is the info I found. Please see if you can find a better source of ebooks and comic books that are scanned. We need books with pictures. Tin-Tin, Asterix? Superman?

torrentbox.com- mininova.org
- demonoid.com (which is offline this morning, looks like)
- zcultfm.com
- These have a lot of comics. I've seen a lot of tintin, some moebius, disney, various American superheroes, vintage horror comics, etc.
- To further search on your own, just remember, most comic book and comic strip files online are offered in two formats: .cbz and .cbr
- A few are offered as pdf's, but that's a very slim minority. You will need to download a free comic reader -- FF View, Comical, Comic Lover, etc -- to view cbz's and cbr's.
Source(s):
bittorrent site with tintin books and video torrents; download with azureus, bittorrent, etc:http://www.mininova.org/tor/588319 - and

Try the link below.- There were a few books near the bottom of the search list.
- You need a torrent program to download them (like utorrent).

I don't know about downloading them, but Superman Thru the Ages is a site with great classic Superman stories on line for free. They have stories that go all the way back to 1939 that you can't afford to buy, but you can read them here.- Plus, they have on line Superman novels and a never before published story, The K-metal from Krypton.
- This was written in 1939 and would FOREVER have changed the relationship between Clark and Lois. It was the First appearance of Kryptonite, the first time that Superman lost his powers, the First time he learned he was from Krypton, and he revealed his secret identity to Lois!
- Think what a difference that would have made in the comic book world, not just the Dc universe, but the difference to all writers! The publisher (National, at the time) bought it from Siegel and Schuster, and then refused to publish it! They wanted to keep Superman with no weaknesses at all, keep him ignorant of his origin, and keep the Clark-Lois-Superman triangle going...!
- And now you can read it for FREE. Enjoy!

In other words, I don't know where to go now. Can someone who reads this blog send me some suggestions? I want to download a complete comic book so that I can send that book to my student and then we can listen to the student reading the book.
